We have seven Steps to Recovery units and an Intensive Community Rehabilitation Team located at various sites across the city. Each offer a range of mental health rehabilitation services and are committed to supporting people with complex care needs. The successful candidate will work across 2 sites facilitating art therapy within 3 of our Complex Care units - Endeavour Court, Erdington and Dan Mooney and David Bromley House located on the same site in Knowle, Solihull. This autonomous role will require you to develop the art psychotherapy resource within these units, to liaise with the MDT and support the delivery of effective and responsive psychological care. You will be warmly welcomed into a well established and supportive group of psychological practitioners working across Steps to Recovery and Assertive Outreach Services.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will, as part of the multi-disciplinary team, inform and develop art psychotherapy referral pathways, facilitate both individual 1:1, and group interventions, as well as provide consultation to other clinical staff. You will be required to clinically supervise band 6 and 7 art psychotherapists working across the trust and will yourself receive clinical supervision from and experienced art psychotherapist. You will have access to training and development opportunities to develop your career within a dynamic team in a busy setting.</p> <p>As an Art Psychotherapist working within the Trust, you will become a member of a large community of Arts Psychotherapists working in various settings including, Secure Care and Offender Health, Early Intervention Services, Complex Treatment Service, Community Art Psychotherapy Service, SOLAR Young People's Service and the Enhanced Team for Personality Disorders. This network of Arts Psychotherapists will ensure you have access to model specific support, mentoring and professional leadership via the Heads of Arts Psychotherapies.</p>

  <p>An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a highly clinically skilled, experienced, motivated and compassionate Psychologist/ Psychotherapist to work in a split role between ADAPT-East in Bromley and the specialist Woman's Service which is also based in the same building in Orpington. </p> <p>ADAPT-E is one of the Bromley community mental health teams.</p> <p>WS is a specialist evening psychotherapy service for women, survivors of non recent child sexual abuse. The service operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and as it is primarily an evening service, the post holder will be expected to work evenings for the Woman's Service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.</p> <p>The post holder will join an established and integrated psychological therapies team within ADAPT-E. In the WS the post holder will join a well established team of psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and art psychotherapists offering specialist psychotherapy for women survivors of child sexual abuse.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post presents an exciting opportunity to develop highly specialist, supervisory and leadership skills within secondary care adult mental health.</p> <p>ADAPTE has been developing new ways of working with people presenting with interpersonal issues and complex trauma including a structured clinical management, compassion based and trauma stabilisation group programs. These run alongside established provisions including dual modality MBT, EMDR, CAT, 3rd wave CBT, psychodynamic, systemic and integrative approaches. Personal modality preferences will be encouraged and respected, specialisms in one or more of the above would be highly desirable.</p> <p>The post holder will be involved with assessment, formulation and interventions to the ADAPT population. Supervision of doctoral trainees or junior members of the therapy team will also be expected as appropriate. Leadership support will be encouraged with the Locality Lead in terms of service development and development of the MDT more widely.</p> <p>For WS, the post holder will be expected to provide highly specialised clinical interventions and supervision and contribute to the specialist expertise within a psychodynamic framework for survivors of child sexual abuse. The post holder will offer consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues in team meetings and supervision, and work autonomously within professional guidelines and within the overall framework of the service's policies and procedures.</p>

We are advertising a 12 month fixed term role within the community art psychotherapy team which sits within our Trust-wide Arts Psychotherapies Service. In recent years, the team has grown significantly, and we are proud to offer a career structure from entry-level to Consultant Art Psychotherapist. We have arts psychotherapists located in community and specialist services and an expanding trainee placement scheme. You will be located in the South hub (based at Longbridge) in a busy Community Mental Health Team setting. You will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of clinical staff as well as being part of the Art Psychotherapy Community Team and wider Arts Psychotherapies Service in the Trust.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Developing and informing referral pathways, facilitating a range of art psychotherapy interventions to individuals and groups, providing consultation to other clinical staff and working as part of the MDT within the community mental health team setting. You will receive clinical supervision from an experienced art psychotherapist, line management support from within the art psychotherapy service, access to training and development opportunities and have the chance to develop your career within a dynamic team in a busy community mental health team setting.</p>
