Join Our Team as a Counsellor at Trinity Hospice Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Trinity Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counsellor to join our supportive team at the Linden Centre. This is a unique opportunity to provide vital support and therapy to clients and Trinity patients, both pre- and post-bereavement, and to contribute to the ongoing development of our counselling service. What You'll Do: <ul><li>Deliver individual and group therapy tailored to the diverse needs of our clients.</li><li>Manage your own caseload, exercising professional autonomy and judgement.</li><li>Assist in assessing the needs of adults (and children, if required) referred to the service.</li><li>Uphold the highest ethical and legal standards, ensuring client confidentiality at all times.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments and make appropriate referrals to specialist services when needed.</li><li>Actively participate in clinical supervision, training, and development activities.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.</li><li>Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and external partners to ensure holistic support for clients.</li><li>Promote quality and participate in clinical governance activities within Trinity Hospice.</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to self-care and personal professional development.</li></ul> What We're Looking For: <ul><li>A qualified counsellor with experience in providing therapy to adults (experience with children is a plus, but not essential).</li><li>Someone who is proactive, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>A professional who values continuous learning and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of practice.</li><li>An empathetic individual who understands the importance of self-care in a demanding role.</li><li>Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends as the service evolves.</li></ul> Why Join Trinity Hospice?
