			<p>If you’re an Associate Specialist looking for a new opportunity to join a friendly multidisciplinary team in an established secure service setting delivering&nbsp;high-quality clinical service to people with complex mental health conditions across the medium and low secure service.</p>
<p>&nbsp;Working part time 18.75 hours a week alongside the unit's multidisciplinary team, including the Consultant, to ensure that service users receive a holistic and person-centric treatment programme based on the recovery model.</p>

<p>As an Associate Specialist, you will ensure the high quality first-line medical care of our inpatients, liaise effectively with external professionals and carers, provide written and oral evidence for Hospital Managers’ and Tribunal hearings, work towards safe discharges including preparing discharge summaries, reports and other necessary documentation and be a valued and effective member of the multidisciplinary team at Thornford Park Hospital</p>
<p>This established service looks to continually innovate, improve and deliver excellent care for its service users, has an active programme of education and research and provides significant developmental opportunities for its staff.</p>
<p>There are currently four other Associate Specialists working in the service. There is no formal on-call commitment attached to the role, but there are opportunities to join the on-call rota through a locum agency which provides on-call services for the hospital.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be welcomed into a passionate and positive team of professionals, headed by a Counselling Psychologist within the psychology team, and made up of a Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Creative Arts Therapist, and an Assistant Psychologist.   <p>HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including body imaging, CT colonography and Cardiac CT. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies.</p> <p>Therefore, with the expansion of Radiology services over the next few years and enhanced scope of practice available, this is an ideal opportunity to expand your portfolio.</p> <p>We welcome applications from experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills who have a proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient. Ideal candidates will be a well organised team player with great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, with the ability to prioritise ever-changing worklists.   <p>We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Technician to support the Occupational Therapy team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing mental health conditions.</p><p>The OT Technician plays a key role in facilitating therapeutic activities, promoting recovery and ensuring safe and effective discharge. Working under the supervision of registered Occupational Therapists, the role involves engaging patients in meaningful occupations that support their mental well-being and rehabilitation. <p>The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, patient-centered care on our award winning Acute Frailty unit (AFU) The unit provides specialist holistic assessment, care and treatment for frail patients in line with Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) principles. Working with the Multi Disciplinary team, you will ensure rapid assessment, care and discharge planning to enable short lengths of stay, efficient flow and prevent hospital related deconditioning.</p>
<p>You will also provide senior OT support to our new older person's ward which has been designed to cater for the complex needs of older people in a state of the art, dementia friendly environment.</p>
<p>The team also cover 2 other older person's wards, a Haematology ward and Falls Clinic. All of which will benefit from your skills, experience and senior support.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will become an integral part of a kind, friendly and hardworking team and will join our senior leadership team to help to lead, design and develop the service of the future.</p>
