As an integral team in the Urgent Care Pathway we work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work with people who are experiencing a mental health crisis, require extra support alongside their regular support network or who can have the same treatment provided at home that they would receive in a Mental Health Hospital.</p> <p>We are a team that consists of Band 5 and 6 Nurses, Band 3 Support Workers, Non-Medical Prescribers, Medical Staff, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Administrators and Business Support Staff. </p> <p>As we work with people with all types of mental health presentations, we need to have a range of skills and interests that create a strong and responsive team.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapists to join our acute mental health teams at our site at Kingfisher Court, Radlett. This is an exciting opportunity due to the opening of a new acute assessment ward.</p> <p>The postholder will provide occupational therapy expertise within the multi-disciplinary team, including specialist assessment, individual, and group work intervention. They will have a leadership &amp; supervisory role in the OT team. The teams consist of occupational therapists, a physiotherapist, arts therapists, a horticulturalist, psychologists as well as a full MDT.</p> <p>There are regular opportunities to network with other OTs to share ideas and good practice, engage in CPD and funded external courses including Masters or PGDip level study in a variety of specialties such as Sensory Integration, Trauma Informed Care &amp; Reducing Restrictive Practice.</p> <p>Robust supervision from the Band 7 and 8 OTs with growth opportunities will support the post-holder to develop as a Band 6 level using a bespoke training package.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Day to do day running of our busy CT department, providing the best possible care to our patients</p>
<p>Undertake a wide range of CT examinations to a high standard including stroke, trauma, oncology, intervention, CT Colonography, Cardiac CT.</p>
<p>Supervising junior Radiographers and students</p>
<p>Liaising with Radiologists, service users, clerical booking teams to ensure an efficient service for our patients.</p>
<p>Posts are based at Worthing with regular rotation to Southlands Hospital to help run the CT service at the CDC.</p>
<p>Participation in a shift system including the out of hours CT service - evenings, weekends with possible requirement to do nights.</p>

The CTC list is radiographer led with a CTC reporting radiographer.</p> <p>We have recently been through a departmental refurbishment and installation of 3 new state of the art Canon CT scanners as part of the Radiology Managed Service contract.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>HHFT supports specialist services for rare and complex illnesses for patients from across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei. We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including body imaging, CT colonography and Cardiac CT. We also perform a wide range of vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies.</p> <p>Therefore, with the expansion of Radiology services over the next few years and enhanced scope of practice available, this is an ideal opportunity to expand your portfolio.</p> <p>We welcome applications from experienced CT radiographers with effective leadership skills who have a proactive approach to providing outstanding care for every patient. Ideal candidates will be a well organised team player with great clinical knowledge, good communication skills, with the ability to prioritise ever-changing worklists.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative radiographer/technician who ideally has previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine, to join our small team.</p>
<p>We are a state of the art department comprising of 2 hybrid SPECT/CT scanners and 1 dual headed gamma camera. We carry out diagnostic imaging, non imaging examinations and treat benign and malignant diseases by means of our therapy service.</p>

  <p>The successful candidate will be required to undertake a full range of Nuclear Medicine duties including routine scanning, processing, dispensing and administration of Radiopharmaceuticals using relevant systems of work and applications. Rotate through radio pharmacy production, and learn specialised skills such as sentinel node localisation and myocardial perfusion stress testing.</p>

<p><strong><em>The Trust, which manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford, was established as an NHS Trust in April 1991 and became a Foundation Trust in April 2008. </em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>We employ almost 5,000 members of staff, provide around 540 hospital beds, with a range of services including accident and emergency, maternity, outpatients, therapies, and children's health. </em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>The Trust is also part of Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP), a unique local health partnership that provides a range of community services for people across South Cheshire and Vale Royal. </em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>During the Coronavirus pandemic, the Trust was recognised nationally for its 'Be Safe Be EquiPPEd' campaign, which aimed to make the Trust as safe as possible for staff and patients, through supporting the correct use of PPE. </em></strong></p>
<p><strong><em>The results in the 2020 national NHS Staff Survey showed improvements in all elements of the safety culture theme, with 92% of respondents feeling their role made a difference to our patients.
