Yas School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Wellbeing Counsellor to join our team for January 2026 or sooner if possible.This is an exciting opportunity to join a flagship government school in Abu Dhabi with the mission of blending Emirati cultural values with modern global standards to create an exceptional educational experience for our students. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school educating 1750+ girls and boys on our extensive campus.
As Wellbeing Counsellor, you will be accountable for providing student wellbeing services ranging from preventative to responsive supports, including guidance to parents and teachers relating to child and adolescent wellbeing.
The successful candidate should:
• Bachelor’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• Proficiency in English (demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Arabic is a requirement.
• 3 years’ experience in a counselling role, preferably in an educational setting.
