Job Title: Systemic Family TherapistSalary: Up to £50,000 FTEContract: Part-time (1 or 2 days per week)Location: Wisbech The OpportunityWe are recruiting for a part-time Systemic Family Therapist to support children and their families on the path to reunification. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow a role that will make a real difference, working both directly and indirectly with children, parents, and professionals.You will provide therapeutic input, consultation, and guidance to care teams and families, while also helping to embed high-quality therapeutic practice. The position offers scope to develop as the service expands, with potential to deliver some support online.About You
- Essential: Accredited qualification in systemic family therapy (AFT recognised)
- Essential: Professional registration with an appropriate regulatory body (e.g., UKCP)
- Essential: Full UK Driving Licence
- Desirable: Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience
- Desirable: Experience supporting care-experienced children, families, and wider professional networks
- Deliver a range of trauma-informed systemic interventions for children and families
- Provide specialist consultation and guidance to care teams
- Contribute to assessments, formulations, and therapeutic planning
- Offer advice and guidance to carers, families, and professionals
- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, and wider colleagues
- Deliver training sessions on systemic and therapeutic approaches
- Provide consultation on child trauma, attachment, and recovery
- Contribute to service development and clinical planning
- Support policy implementation and advise on therapeutic needs
- Build effective working relationships with external agencies
- Keep up to date with current research to ensure evidence-based practice
- Contribute to outcome measurement and service development projects
- Maintain professional registration and CPD
- Adhere to ethical and safeguarding standards
- Keep accurate clinical records
- Promote principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Engage in supervision and reflective practice
- Attend training, conferences, and professional development activities
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work, including information related to staff, young people, and organisational matters
