Aspire are working with a number of vibrant and diverse schools across East London who are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Coaches to join their teams. These roles provide a fantastic opportunity to inspire young people through sport, promote physical activity, and contribute to student well-being and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions across a range of age groups (primary and secondary).
Plan and implement engaging PE lessons and extracurricular activities.
Support schools in promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Work with teachers and school leadership to tailor sessions to the needs of pupils.
Identify and nurture talent in a variety of sports.
Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Assist with organising school sports events and competitions.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 2 Coaching Qualification in one or more sports (e.g., football, basketball, netball, athletics, etc.).
Experience working with children or young people in a school or community setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo checks).
Flexibility to work across different school sites.
Desirable:
First Aid certification.
Safeguarding training.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards a PGCE/School Direct route (preferred but not essential).
Experience delivering curriculum-based PE lessons.
