In this role, you'll lead on the delivery of psychological services within a specialist educational environment, supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. You'll work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external professionals to ensure a holistic, trauma-informed approach to care and learning.
What You'll Do:- Provide psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions
- Lead on formulation and care planning for students with complex needs
- Supervise and support junior psychology and therapy staff
- Contribute to whole-school approaches to wellbeing and inclusion
- Support staff training, reflective practice, and development
- Liaise with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure joined-up care
- HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, or Educational)
- Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
- Strong leadership, communication, and consultation skills
- A collaborative, trauma-informed approach to care
- Experience in education or specialist settings is desirable but not essential
