We are recruiting for a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Practitioner (Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) to join our team to cover maternity leave for 12 months. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care.
Are you a Mental Health Practitioner? Do you have a high level of skill in the assessment and care of people who present to ED in mental health crisis and those who have mental health needs during their inpatient stay in the acute hospital?
The MH&LD Liaison Team provides assessments, advice, and reasonable adjustments for people with mental health needs and learning disabilities accessing treatment at St Mary's Hospital. We aim to improve the parity of care for people of all ages with mental health and learning disabilities in the acute hospital and work with their family and carers to ensure they have the best possible care and treatment.
The MH&LD Liaison Team works across the full age spectrum and provides a 24-hour service across seven days of the week. Additionally, MH&LD Liaison Team collaborates with Ambulance service to support people with mental health needs and learning disabilities in the community through the Mental Health Rapid Response Vehicle service (MHRRV).
