Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist - Young People (Full Remote - UK Only)

Permanent, part time opportunity - 24 hours (3 days per week). Working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with flexible shifts on Monday and Wednesday and a fixed shift on Friday. Pay: £47000+ per annum plus pro rated Bupa benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality, outcome focused CBT to children and adolescents via video consultations.
  • Complete thorough assessments and formulations to guide treatment.
  • Communicate clearly and sensitively with parents, carers, schools and other agencies involved in the child's care.
  • Work within clinical guidelines and safeguarding policies, remaining attuned to the unique safeguarding needs of young people.
  • Manage sessional limits linked to the customer's insurance cover while keeping recovery goals at the heart of your work.
  • Carry out risk assessments and create effective management plans, with the support of senior clinicians as required.
  • Provide signposting, onward referrals and one off wellbeing sessions when needed.
  • Deliver occasional group psycho education or wellbeing workshops.
  • Work autonomously within Bupa's service framework, maintaining thorough records and upholding clinical standards.
  • Attend monthly team meetings and regular supervision sessions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across operational and clinical teams to improve client and employee experience.
Essential Qualifications
  • BABCP accredited Post Graduate Diploma in CBT/High Intensity Therapy.
  • Full BABCP Accreditation.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with a range of presentations.
  • At least two years' post qualification experience delivering high intensity CBT.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital health systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, adapting your approach to suit different ages and needs.
  • The ability to prioritise workload, manage a structured caseload and meet utilisation expectations.
  • A warm, empathetic approach that helps young people feel genuinely supported.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Additional therapeutic training, leadership skills or incident support training.
