ELFT Digital Therapy (EDT)is seeking to appoint experienced and accredited, remote-workingBand 7 High Intensity CBT Therapiststo join our expanding team on apermanent basis. Experience in perinatal and in treating PTSD would be advantageous. This is a rare opportunity to work entirely from home, or from anywhere in the UK, as part of a fully remote, forward-looking NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) service.

As a digital-first service, we support community-based IAPT teams acrossEast London, East Anglia and the Southeast, providing high-quality care that is clinically robust, equitable, and accessible.
This role offers genuine flexibility. You will deliver individual therapy, triage and group interventions remotely, within our service hours of 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am-5pm on Fridays. All clinical sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams or telephone, enabling you to work effectively and comfortably from a home-based setting.
EDT is committed to supporting staff wellbeing and career development. We provide structured clinical supervision and case management, and access to regular CPD sessions. As part of ELFT, you will also be part of a rich, multidisciplinary clinical network spanning Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Bedfordshire.
Main duties of the job
As a High Intensity Therapist with EDT, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions at Step 3, primarily high-intensity CBT, in line with NICE guidance.
- Conducting assessments and triage appointments via video or telephone, determining suitability and treatment pathways.
- Providing individual therapy and facilitating psychoeducational or therapeutic groups using secure remote platforms.
- Managing a diverse caseload of service users with common mental health problems, including depression, PTSD, GAD, OCD and panic disorder.
- Supporting clients from a wide range of backgrounds and communities, making use of interpreters when needed.
- Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and outcome monitoring in line with NHS Talking Therapies standards.
- Participating actively in clinical supervision, case discussions and regular CPD tailored to professional development goals.
- Collaborating with colleagues across EDT and the wider ELFT Talking Therapies services, contributing to service innovation and digital excellence.
