An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join the Wigan Talking Therapies team on a permanent basis.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within Wigan Talking Therapies to deliver evidence-based, low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions to individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression.
As part of our dedicated and experienced team, you will receive close support from the management team and regular guidance from Senior PWPs to ensure high-quality clinical practice and professional growth.
You will be employed by the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, benefiting from the resources and stability of a large, well-established organisation, while also being embedded in a local, integrated network of mental health and wellbeing services across Wigan. - Educated to degree standard in a subject enabling the post holder to demonstrate psychological mindedness, e.g. psychology, social sciences or health. Recognized PWP qualification, e.g. Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice Interventions for Mental Health (APIMH) or equivalent Accredited with BABCP/BPS
Desirable
- Diploma or Masters in APIMH or equivalent.
