Mental Health Support Worker

Airmid are now recruiting for reliable compassionate Support Workers in the Southport area , for work supporting a client in a Residential Setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care
• Be proactive with managing behaviour & de-escalation
• Ability to communicate clearly & effectively through verbal & written means.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a small team
• Must be able to maintain a high level of care
• Must be trained in CPI Safety Intervention Training, or Control & restraint

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK

• 6+ months of personal care experience (hospital, nursing home, or home care)

• DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one

• Basic Life Support & Moving/Handling training

• Two professional references
