A welcoming and inclusive school in Earley is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health needs.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students develop emotional regulation, resilience, and coping strategies.
Responsibilities- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with mental health needs
- Supporting small group interventions focused on emotional wellbeing
- Helping students develop coping strategies and resilience
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment
- Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals
- ASAP start
