Overview

Assistant Psychologist role at Wiltshire Educational Psychology Service. This temporary, fixed-term position (2 years) offers a salary of £34,434 - £36,363 per annum and 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Collect information through observation, assessment, and structured interviews with children in the Early Years and adults who support them.
  • Participate in the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment process by contributing data and insights.
  • Engage in collaborative co-construction meetings with EPs, parents/carers, and other key adults.
  • Assist in training, supervision, and support provided by educational psychologists.
  • Contribute to broader work alongside the EP team as opportunities arise.
Qualifications
  • Honours degree in psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience working with children in educational settings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to build relationships with children and adults.
