Fully Remote Educational Psychologist to work on a bespoke piece of work to complete psychology advice for Education, healthcare and needs assessments. Details are as follows:
- To complete a minimum of 2 x assessments per month (4 days)
- Offering 1,250 maximum per assessment (for each 2 day piece of work)
- Budget can cover 18 completed assessments
- Will require an IR3
Essential knowledge:
- A broad understanding of issues surrounding general developments in psychological and educational assessment and intervention
- Knowledge of both normal and abnormal development in childhood and adolescence (including the most commonly occurring conditions)
- Knowledge of a range of approaches to intervention, as appropriate for use in schools and other everyday settings
- Knowledge of legislation and procedures relating to assessment and provision for children with special educational needs
Essential experience and achievements
- Experience of work in relation to young people and children with special educational needs
- Experience in using a range of psychological assessment and intervention techniques
Essential qualifications/professional memberships
- Honours degree in Psychology or equivalent recognised by British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Postgraduate qualification (MSc. or Doctorate) incorporating professional training in educational psychology
