Educational Psychologist - Hybrid - Yorkshire - £1000 to £1200 per assessment

Hunter Mental Health are looking for an experienced Educational Psychologist to join services across Yorkshire on a flexible, hybrid basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practitioner seeking autonomy, excellent rates of pay, and the ability to make a measurable difference to children and young people.

Role details:

• Location: Yorkshire (hybrid role - mix of on-site and remote assessments)

• Service: Local Authority / SEND provision

• Rate: £1000 - £1200 per completed assessment

• Contract type: Ongoing, outside IR35

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out statutory Educational Psychology assessments for children and young people aged 0-25

• Provide clear, evidence-based advice and reports to support EHCPs and local SEND decision-making

• Work collaboratively with schools, SENCOs, parents/carers, and wider multidisciplinary professionals

• Deliver high-quality recommendations that are child-centred and outcome-focused

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist

• Recognised professional qualification in Educational Psychology

• Demonstrable experience working within local authority or SEND settings

• Strong report writing skills and ability to meet statutory timelines
