Job Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support students' educational development.

Develop and implement intervention strategies to address learning and behavioral challenges.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.

Provide counseling and guidance to students to enhance their emotional and social well-being.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required by the council and educational authorities.

Stay updated with the latest research and practices in educational psychology.
Person Specifications
Must Have
-
Eligibility to work in the UK confirmed.

Enhanced DBS Disclosure valid for 12 months.

Relevant licenses, qualifications, or registrations legally required for the role.

Two written references.

National Insurance number checked.
Nice to Have

Experience working with local councils or similar public sector organizations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Familiarity with the educational system in Cheshire West and Chester.
