Educational Psychologist - East Midlands
We're working in partnership with a Local Authority in the East Midlands who are seeking experienced Educational Psychologists to support with statutory Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality psychological advice to inform the EHCP process.
- Complete face-to-face assessments to identify learning needs, emotional wellbeing, and barriers to progress.
- Produce clear, child-centred statutory reports to support decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and professionals, keeping the child or young person at the centre of all practice.
- Recommend evidence-based strategies and interventions for pupils with learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff to promote inclusion and build capacity.
What We're Looking For:
- Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology
- HCPC registration (essential)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with children and young people, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes
Role Details:
- Rate: 600 per day
- Assessments: Face-to-face (essential)
- IR35: Outside IR35
