We are seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about using psychological knowledge and skills to improve students' learning and emotional well-being. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to create supportive and effective educational environments.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' educational and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and educational programs tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide consultation to teachers and school staff on how to implement psychological principles and techniques in the classroom.
- Offer guidance and support to parents on issues affecting their child's education and development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to address complex student needs and promote a holistic approach to education.
- Conduct research on educational practices and psychological factors affecting learning to continuously improve school programs.
- Lead workshops and training sessions for staff and parents to enhance their understanding of educational psychology.
- Master's degree or higher in Educational Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., Health and Care Professions Council).
- Proven experience in an educational psychology role.
- Strong understanding of psychological theories and practices relevant to education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
