We would love to hear from you.Educational Psychologist Main Purpose of the RoleTo deliver an effective educational psychology service to schools, families, and the local authority by:
- Providing psychological advice for statutory assessments under the SEND Code of Practice.
- Supporting children and young people with special educational needs, emotional or behavioural difficulties, and developmental disorders.
- Promoting inclusive education and well-being through evidence-based interventions.
- Conduct assessments and consultations for children and young people.
- Provide psychological advice for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service databases
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
- Completion of a BPS-accredited Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
- Strong consultation, assessment, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across education, health, and social care sectors.
- Commitment to equal opportunities and inclusive practice.
