Service Care are recruiting for an Educational Mental Health Practitioner Location: Glossop Hours: Part-time or Full-time Pay: 30 per hour Role Overview<ul><li>Deliver evidence-based interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues</li><li>Support the Senior Mental Health Lead to introduce and develop the Whole School Approach (WSA)</li><li>Provide timely advice to education staff and liaise with specialist services to ensure children and young people (CYP) receive the right support and remain in education</li></ul>Essential Knowledge &amp; Skills<ul><li>Understanding of educational environments</li><li>Knowledge of safeguarding issues</li><li>Knowledge of capacity and consent issues, including Gillick competence</li></ul>Experience Required<ul><li>Working with children and young people, their families, and other professionals</li><li>Liaising with a wide variety of agencies and stakeholders</li><li>Supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and/or behavioural difficulties</li><li>Experience with anxiety and affective (mood) disorders</li><li>Delivery of specific therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, solution-focused brief therapy)</li></ul>Interested?
