Job summary
We are excited to be recruiting for a full time qualified Counsellor to work in our supportive team here at The Mount. You will join our Talking Therapies team offering one to one, telephone and online therapy. We are open to flexible and hybrid working requests.The successful candidate will be joining a fantastic team of PWPs, Counsellors and CBT therapists who work collaboratively to deliver the best service and outcomes for clients. Health and wellbeing of staff along with investing in our team is important to us. You will receive regular supervision and will also have the opportunity to attend suitable training events to support your professional development.
Main duties of the job
In additional to core training as a counsellor, you must have an HEE Talking Therapies approved training qualification such as PCE-CfD, CCfD. For those qualified Counsellors who have not yet gained BACP Accreditation, we will support completion of this within your first 12 months in post.The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.We pride ourselves on the work we do and are looking for a committed, hardworking and enthusiastic individual with the appropriate training, skills and experience to offer counselling for a range of presentations.If this is you, do please apply

- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited Diploma (or evidence of BACP 'Certificate of Proficiency' if Diploma was not BACP accredited)
- Registered with BACP or evidence of working towards Accreditation with BACP and expectation that this will be completed within 12 months of taking up the post
