We are seeking an innovative and compassionate College Counsellor to join our dedicated team at our specialist SEND college here at Horizons.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with a wide range of additional needs.

In this role, you will work closely with learners, families and multi-disciplinary colleagues to provide emotionally informed, trauma-aware support that helps our students feel safe, understood and empowered.

We are looking for someone who: Thinks creatively and is willing to try new approaches Adapts their counselling style to suit diverse communication needs Builds strong, trusting relationships with young people Is reflective, curious and open to learning Thrives as part of a supportive, collaborative team Experience within SEND, neurodiversity or alternative therapeutic approaches would be an advantage, but we are equally keen to hear from practitioners who bring fresh ideas, warmth, and a genuine passion for inclusive practice.

Hours: 26 per week Interview Date: w.c 02.03.2026 or as received Training: It is important to us to ensure you feel valued and supported.
