Counselling Lecturer
Location: Barnsley
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £34,604 - £37,679 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Counselling Lecturer to join a Further Education College in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support learners in developing the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in counselling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across counselling courses at Level 3/4/5 - specify .
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning to ensure outstanding outcomes for students.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to learners, promoting progression and achievement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
What We're Looking For:
- A recognised counselling qualification (minimum Level 4 or above).
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Practical experience in counselling practice.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to inclusive education.
All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years' referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
