
Camhs Practitioner

Conduct comprehensive mental health and risk assessments in line with NICE and local CAMHS protocols.

Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions, such as CBT, DBT-informed strategies, psychoeducation, or family support.

Formulate care plans and work collaboratively with children, families, schools, and other professionals.

Participate in multi-agency safeguarding meetings and liaise with social care, education, and health professionals.

Support the delivery of specialist pathways such as ADHD, autism, eating disorders, self-harm, or anxiety/depression.

Respond to young people in crisis and contribute to safety planning, de-escalation, and follow-up care.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to data collection, audits, and service improvement.
