We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bid Development Officer to work as part of our Service Development Team.

The Service Development team works collaboratively with staff across Rethink Mental Illness. Our aim is to sustain and grow our core activities so the charity can deliver high quality mental health care and support to people when they need it and so we can reach more people through our work.

We seek to:

  • Identify opportunities in line with regional development plans
  • Identify strategic opportunities that can be piloted/rolled out nationally
  • Create winning tenders and proposals (to an exceptionally high standard) which further the delivery of our strategy
  • Understand service models and develop innovation
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and harness knowledge and expertise
  • Ensure our work is based on co-production with people with lived experience

How you will make a difference

As a Bid Development Officer, I work proactively and collaboratively with colleagues across the charity to sustain and grow our services. I support and co-ordinate end-to-end delivery of bids and proposals. I produce professionally written content to deliver winning tender submissions and proposals which further the delivery of Rethink Mental Illness’ strategy. Writing at the highest standard, I articulate Rethink Mental Illness’ offer, strengths, capabilities and experience. I have a strong interest in mental health, health and social care, and the sustainability of charities.
