Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with students to support their social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Work one-to-one and in small groups with pupils to implement behaviour intervention strategies
- Help manage challenging behaviour in the classroom and around the school
- Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to develop and deliver tailored support plans
- Monitor and record student progress, contributing to behaviour reviews and reports
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural or emotional needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure
- A proactive and resilient attitude
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., in youth work, education, psychology, sports coaching) are desirable but not essential
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
