Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker - Horsham
Location: Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, Slinfold.
Salary: Up to £14.21 per hour plus a £1 location allowance.
Kerwin Court delivers specialist neuro rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injury in a residential setting near Broadbridge Heath.
Responsibilities- Provide personalised support to adult residents, following individual support plans.
- Assist residents with independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities and socialising.
- Encourage and guide residents to regain the skills and confidence needed for independent living.
- Support residents to safely access the community, including assistance with driving where appropriate (drivers preferred - unit vehicle provided).
- Support residents in daily routines and the development of self management strategies.
- Genuine empathy for residents, with positivity, patience and resilience.
- Excellent communication skills and good literacy.
- Strong teamwork orientation and pride in collaborative work.
- Effective time management skills, with ability to prioritise workload.
- Driver's licence and willingness to drive as required - unit vehicle provided.
