Are you an Aspiring Educational Psychologist looking to gain meaningful, hands on experience in a school setting before pursuing further training or postgraduate study?

A supportive primary school in Brent, NW10 is seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to work as a Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with additional learning needs across the classroom and in targeted interventions.

Aspiring Educational Psychologist - The Role
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who require additional academic or emotional support
  • Support children with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Build strong, professional relationships with pupils to support progress and engagement
  • Gain first hand experience working alongside SENCOs, teachers and external professionals
Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Ideal Candidate
  • A graduate with a Psychology or related degree
  • Clear ambition to progress into Educational Psychology, SEN or Child Psychology
  • Patient, resilient and confident working with children who need additional support
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Able to commit for the full academic year
