About the role - ideal for Aspiring Educational Psychologists:
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates seeking hands-on experience with children with special educational needs, a key step towards a career in Educational Psychology.
You will:
Work closely with students aged 4-16 with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning and develop key skills
Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised education plans
Observe, record, and reflect on student progress - excellent preparation for postgraduate EP courses
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
A 2:1 or above in Psychology (or closely related subject) from a top UK university
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (in schools, care, or voluntary settings) is highly desirable
A calm, empathetic, and reflective approach
Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in child development
A clear ambition to pursue a career in Educational Psychology
