Welcome to the UK's only jobs platform dedicated to mental health and wellbeing careers
We're seeking funding to invest in a proven marketing model to grow harmonia to its full potential.
The landscape
Supporting therapy professionals
There are more than 600,000 registered mental health professionals in the UK, with approx. 37% actively looking for paid work.
Meeting current demands
Recruitment and retention is not keeping up with current demand with more than 55,000 mental health vacancies avaliable in the UK.
NHS services in England
Mental health staff are the most in demand across the NHS workforce. It's estimated 27,000 new posts are needed to meet current demand. (NHS England)
The future generation
When surveyed, 82% of parents with school-aged children believe counselling or psychotherapy should be freely available in schools, but only 62% currently offer this to pupils. (You Gov 2022)
A systemic problem
Poor mental health costs UK employers an estimated £51 billion each year due to absence, reduced productivity at work, and staff turnover. (Deloitte)
Current market value
With £18.22billion spent on mental health services in 2024/25, the UK mental health recruitment market is estimated to be worth £14.11 billion by 2033. (IMARC Group)

Our Story
Founded by Laura Mort and Valentina Tihonova, who met whilst working for British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), our team have a proven track record in growing a successful mental health jobs board.
- Over five years as product development lead at BACP (2019 - 2024), Laura tenaciously grew the fledging member-only jobs board from an annual revenue of £36K (Year 1) to £480K (Year 5).
- However, for three years in a row, her ambition to expand the jobs board to meet current demand and achieve wider market potential was not supported by BACP due to internal budget constraints.
- So in 2024, Laura teamed up with her BACP colleague, Valentina, who instantly aligned with the same vision...
To create a specialist jobs board for the mental health and wellbeing sector that is accessible to everyone in the UK.

Where we are...
There was no existing centralised jobs platform for this sector - until now.
The world is finally recognising the importance of mental health, but the pathways into these self-regulated industries remain fragmented, hard to find, and often undervalued. We’re here to change that.
As two female entrepreneurs passionate about mental health and wellbeing, we’ve come together to create a platform that connects people with meaningful careers in this vital and growing sector.
We know the journey isn’t simple, but we’re ready for it – and we won’t stop. This matters too much. We want to make a real and lasting difference.
With the right tools, the right focus, and the right support, our platform will make a real difference to millions of people across the UK.
Funded by a £58,000 loan from the British Business Bank in May 2024, we have already built a fully functioning optimised website with paid clients now using our services.
We’re lean...
We’ve successfully created a fully functioning platform and conducted beta testing with overheads of only £5K per month.
With a limited marketing budget, we're already achieving more than 100,000 monthly engagements with a 76% job apply rate, the highest in the mental health recruitment industry

Where we want to be...
Alexander Chukovski is the leading tech consultant for niche job boards with over 15 years tried and tested experience in the online recruitment world. Alex, who runs two successful niche jobs boards of his own, offers his expertise and consultancy services to new jobs boards to help them flourish.
"I'm really looking forward to starting this project with harmonia and see great potential in their vision. I believe my expertise will rapidly help elevate their position as market leaders in this growing industry."
With his proven track record in delivering substantial organic traffic increase for job sites, including SERP, page optimisation, programmatic SEO, content & static page generation, internal linking, and scraping for long-tail SEO content, Alex will join the team in July 2025.
Over the next six months, we will apply proven methods through a 'test and grow' model which will be achieved with a marketing budget of £4,850 per month.

How we get there...
- Improving SEO, backlinks and traffic to rank on the first page of Google for key search terms in our niche
- Building strong partnerships with leading industry professionals and nurturing collaborations with membership bodies
- Continuing to grow a sustainable business model with low overheads and self-serve recruitment products
- Establish strong brand awareness, authority and trust in the industry to become the UK's 'go-to' jobs board for the mental health and wellbeing sector.
We're seeking a minimum investment of £75,000, and anticipate a turnover of £174.5K within 12 months, £911K in two years and £2.4m in three years.
Investment and return
