Our Story
Founded by Laura Mort and Valentina Tihonova, who met while working at the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), they shared the same vision of creating a specialist jobs board for the UK mental health and wellbeing sector.
Our Experience
Our team has a proven track record in building a successful mental health jobs board:
- Over five years as Product Development Lead at BACP (2019–2024), Laura grew the member-only jobs board from £36K in Year 1 to £480K in Year 5.
- With the support of Valentina, an expert in market trends and data analysis, they identified key growth opportunities and developed strategies to maximise impact.
- Despite repeated efforts to scale and meet market demand, limited investment at BACP constrained growth
Our Achievements
So in 2024, Laura and Valentina teamed up create a specialist jobs board that is accessible to everyone in the UK.
- Secured £58,000 start-up funding from the British Business Bank (May 2024)
